Description

Aplomb Large is a new lamp with a different shape and use than the original version, but made of concrete. In addition to being larger in size, Aplomb Large has an integrated LED light source built into the body of the lamp and, unlike the original Aplomb version, it draws attention by emitting a wide beam below the surface. Aplomb is handcrafted by Italian experts using a concrete processing process. The challenge at the heart of this project was to achieve thin thicknesses, light shapes and a textured surface, yet pleasant to the touch. All this was achieved thanks to the meticulous processing and deep knowledge of the raw material, which led to the creation of a special mixture that is very fluid, especially when poured. Available in three colours - white, grey and brown - it is made with pigments added directly to the material mixture, so it can respond to different ambient requirements. Aplomb Large can be placed on a table, kitchen island or countertop, in a home or public space, and can be used alone or repeated in linear compositions.

PRODUCT CARE

Disconnect the lamp from the power source and clean the product with a soft damp cloth soaked in soap or neutral liquid detergent, preferably diluted with water. Strictly avoid using ethyl alcohol or detergents that contain even small amounts of acetone, trichlorethylene and ammonia (common solvents). Make sure the power supply is unplugged during installation and whenever you work on the lamp.

They are constantly challenged to create new product types and seek unprecedented materials and technologies. The synergy with Foscarini research led to the birth of the Aplomb lamp collection. This collection consists of shapes made with a special cement paste, providing a balance between architecture and design. Also, Bahia is a sophisticated graphic sign and a bright play of light and shadows; Lacquer, on the other hand, is a colorful spotlight with an organic and asymmetrical shape.
