All raw materials that Kartell uses are fully recyclable and reusable through material processing processes for industrial-use products.

Kartell is characterized by the industrial production of high-quality design objects made in Italy with a remarkable technological content. Kartell is able to guarantee the collection with quality, durability and long-lasting DNA structure, from the selection of innovative and certified materials to the use of the latest technologies. With its high technology, it has been able to minimize inefficiencies and waste with its production with low levels of residues and fully recyclable in any case.
New Materials
The renewed approach to materials set Kartell's trajectory and turning point. Thanks to years of research and a revolutionary innovation, in 1999 Kartell became the first company in the world to use polycarbonate to manufacture furniture products. Starting with the use of new technologies, they continued their research on surfaces and shapes. In order to realize products that have never been made before, Kartell has opened a new page in the history of light design by reopening the lighting section as well as the habitat section.
Smart Wood Collection
Kartell uses the least amount of wood possible, all from FSC® certified forests, which allows us to guarantee the source of raw materials and contribute to the proper use of our forest resources.
