Founded in Brianza in 1972, Glas Italia is a brand built upon the century-long experience and passion for glass of a family-owned glass workshop, producing crystal furniture, doors, and partitions for interior spaces. The most advanced and innovative technologies merge seamlessly with master craftsmanship, giving life to products that are unique, refined, and original, distinguished by their forms, variety of finishes, and richness of detail.

Many internationally renowned designers work in continuous collaboration with Glas Italia’s expertise to shape their talents and creative intuition. Among them are leading figures of contemporary design such as Piero Lissoni, Patricia Urquiola, Philippe Starck, and Nendo, as well as great masters who have shaped the history of Italian design, including Ettore Sottsass, Alessandro Mendini, and Nanda Vigo.

Opened in Macherio in 2011 and designed by Piero Lissoni, the Glas Italia headquarters stands as a clear expression of the brand’s spirit and philosophy. Glass plays a defining role in the architecture, designed to ensure optimal natural light throughout the workspaces. The entrance is particularly striking: an open-air courtyard surrounded by greenery, where the façade opens up, and a monumental, self-supporting staircase of steel and crystal leading to the upper floors completes the building’s architectural identity.
