Description
The Opalia console is a sculptural design reflecting Patricia Urquiola's contemporary interpretation shaped by the cast glass technique. Formed by re-fusing crystal pieces melted with special additives, the legs feature natural bubbles and a wavy surface texture that make each piece unique. Offered in extra-clear cast glass, the console combines lightness and transparency with a modern dynamism.
The acid-etched float glass top creates perfect harmony with the cast glass legs. The legs are fixed by bonded plates placed on the top and brushed anodised aluminium joints; the joints are available in a pink colour option.
Due to the nature of cast glass, irregularities, bubbles and tonal variations may be found on the surfaces. These features represent the handcrafted character of the product and are not considered defects.
