Description

Slim, compact and portable, this lamp finds a place in any space: a concentration of possibilities packed into a simple sign. Flexibility and functional quality are Tobia's greatest strengths. The central knot is not just a graphic gesture, but also an invitation to grasp: the lamp becomes nomadic. Color is a high-performance point of light that emphasizes or diminishes its presence. In the wall version, Tobia is available in five different colours, with or without cable. A special element allows easy fixing to the wall. The light radiates up and down from both ends of the lamp.

PRODUCT CARE

Disconnect the lamp from the power source and clean the product with a soft damp cloth soaked in soap or neutral liquid detergent, preferably diluted with water. Strictly avoid using ethyl alcohol or detergents that contain even small amounts of acetone, trichlorethylene and ammonia (common solvents). Make sure the power supply is unplugged during installation and whenever you work on the lamp.

Ferruccio Laviani, an architect and designer, works with companies in the furniture and fashion industry and undertakes the design of products as well as corporate identity and showroom designs around the world. He is also responsible for art direction, communication, organizing exhibitions and events and always works in a very contemporary and recognizable style. He entered the world of lighting by designing the Orbitai sculpture-lamp for Foscarini, an authentic icon of Italian design. It is also known for its wall lamp version, Bit. The term sculpture-lamp refers to a three-dimensional volume created with two-dimensional surfaces, and also includes designs with strong symbolic value, such as Supernova and Dolmen, and technological installations inspired by nature.
