Description

I have been thinking about this project for a long time" (Ferruccio Laviani). In its floor lamp version, Tobia is a portable luminaire that projects a powerful light upwards. Slim, compact and portable, this lamp finds its place in any space: a concentration of possibilities squeezed into a simple sign. Tobia's flexibility and functional quality are its greatest strengths. The central node is not only a graphic gesture, but also an invitation to grasp: the lamp becomes nomadic. The colour is a high-performance light point that emphasises or diminishes its presence. In its wall version, Tobia is available in five different colours, with or without cable. A special element allows easy fixing to the wall. The light is emitted upwards and downwards from the two ends of the lamp.

PRODUCT CARE

Disconnect the lamp from the power source and clean the product with a soft damp cloth soaked in soap or neutral liquid detergent, preferably diluted with water. Strictly avoid using ethyl alcohol or detergents that contain even small amounts of acetone, trichlorethylene and ammonia (common solvents). Make sure the power supply is unplugged during installation and whenever you work on the lamp.

Ferruccio Laviani, an architect and designer, works with companies in the furniture and fashion industry and undertakes the design of products as well as corporate identity and showroom designs around the world. He is also responsible for art direction, communication, organizing exhibitions and events and always works in a very contemporary and recognizable style. He entered the world of lighting by designing the Orbitai sculpture-lamp for Foscarini, an authentic icon of Italian design. It is also known for its wall lamp version, Bit. The term sculpture-lamp refers to a three-dimensional volume created with two-dimensional surfaces, and also includes designs with strong symbolic value, such as Supernova and Dolmen, and technological installations inspired by nature.
