Description

Tizio is not only a masterpiece of the Artemide collection but also an icon of Italian design. Designed 50 years ago, it is still completely contemporary thanks to its new integrated LED source. An elegant synthesis of intelligent components developed by Richard Sapper has produced a timeless product.
“When we first presented it, there was nothing like it on the market; it was revolutionary. Tizio is an object that is beautiful in every position and harmonious in every part. You move it with one hand and it is always extremely precise. The reason we have not changed anything over the years is not that we cannot, but that it is simply right the way it is.”
Ernesto Gismondi, 2014
