Description
Introduced in 1975 and bearing the signature of Ernesto Gismondi, Sintesi is the first lighting product designed by Artemide's founder.
Conceived as a smart system, Sintesi forms the basis of a broad product family with its modular structure made up of shared, simple components. The table version, now back in production, is the starting point of this system.
Standing out for its minimal design, the lamp has a flexible structure with adjustable height and angle. In its body, made of bent metal elements, two C shapes of different lengths join to form a Y-shaped support. Thanks to this structure, the lamp tilts with a simple opening and closing movement.
The light source is housed in a frame with an E27 lamp holder, giving the flexibility to use different bulbs over the long term. The same frame also carries the reflector and the protective grille.
Sintesi's folding structure offers the advantage of compact packaging and easy transport. Its direct, functional design reflects Ernesto Gismondi's technical vision, production efficiency and commitment to quality, making the product a timeless design icon.
