Description

Inspired by Alexander Calder's dynamic sculptures, the design expresses the concept of "graceful balance" through precise engineering. Ixa is a complete and flexible family formed by combining an adjustable spherical head, rods and counterweights. This allows the Ixa family to expand according to a smart and scalable principle.

The result of solid design knowledge, Ixa is an expression of functional, efficient and sustainable intelligence through deliberate choices of simplification. Artemide and Foster+Partners share a deep approach rooted in sustainable design and adopt this philosophy in the development of Ixa.

By bringing light where it is needed and enabling physical interaction, Ixa makes us the directors of our own light space. Flexibility, functionality and simple, soft lines make Ixa a long-lasting, timeless design, the foundation of a sustainable project.
