Melampo Table Lamp – Designed by Ernesto Gismondi | Artemide

Melampo is an iconic table lamp that masterfully blends classic touches with modern functionality. Designed by Ernesto Gismondi in 1977, this model has become an essential part of interior decoration with its simple yet impressive silhouette.

  • Opaline Glass Diffuser: The slightly frosted opaline glass head spreads light softly and evenly, creating a captivating atmosphere. With the warm tones it emits, the light makes both work areas and relaxation corners peaceful.

  • Adjustable Angled Arm: The chrome-plated metal arm has an articulated mechanism that allows both height and angle adjustment. This makes it extremely easy to direct light exactly where you need it.

How to Use It

  • Desk: Thanks to its adjustable arm, Melampo provides the right light for reading, writing or computer work.

  • Bedside Lamp: Its soft opaline light offers a relaxing bedside lamp experience; with the dimmer, it is ideal for evening reading or as a night light.

  • Decorative Lighting: With its elegant design, it creates a sophisticated accent on a living room, hallway or office table.

With its timeless design, high functionality and quality-focused craftsmanship, Melampo is one of the classics of the modern lighting world. Bringing Ernesto Gismondi's vision into your home, this table lamp turns any setting into a space that is both stylish and comfortable.
