Description

Chlorophilia is a new design by Ross Lovegrove, who once again interprets Artemide's expertise in the light engine of the luminous body with its characteristic imprint on organic and fluid forms. It is a powerful natural yet light chandelier, complemented by the play of delicate shadows that interact with the space when opened. It consists of a body housing a COB LED that acts as a heat sink, and lightweight phytomorphic elements made of molded pmma that combine the movement of the surface with soft waves, with a discontinuous section that works optically like a lens. The central hanging body emits an indirect light that is filtered and refracted by three transparent surfaces whose natural shape is reminiscent of natural elements such as leaves. Arranged in a radial pattern, these three elements partially overlap to reproduce the play of shadows, creating a scenographic effect on the ceiling.
