Made in Italy: Designer ～ Frédéric Gooris and Fabrice Leclerc

The shape of Savon du Chef gives clues to its function: thanks to its steel structure and natural redox process, it eliminates the odors left by some foods such as garlic, fish and onions. It is enough to rub the steel soap on your hands for a few seconds under cold running water, your hands will remain smooth and odorless. It was designed by Frédéric Gooris at the recommendation of Fabrice Leclerc.

PRODUCT CARE

Clean the product with a soft damp cloth, preferably dipped in soap or neutral liquid detergents diluted with water. Strictly avoid using ethyl alcohol or detergents containing even small amounts of acetone, trichloroethylene and ammonia (solvents in general).

DESIGNER OF THE PRODUCT

Frédéric Gooris & Fabrice Leclerc

Belgian industrial designer Frédéric Gooris, born in Leuven in 1974, graduated from Hogeschool Antwerpen in 1998. He moved to Milan in 1999 where he received his Master of Design at Domus Academy. After gaining 5 years of experience working with Philippe Starck and Stefano Giovannoni, he founded Studio Gooris in Milan, which designs products and concepts for companies all over the world, including Alessi. In 2009, he became the founding partner of the design-oriented baby furniture company Bombol. In 2010, he moved to Hong Kong to open the second office of Studio Gooris, where he has worked to this day.
