Description

Made in Italy: Designer ~ Giulio Lacchetti

Ora In, designed by Giulio Iacchetti, is a corner clock placed between two walls, making use of spaces that usually have little function. This solution ensures full accessibility of the object, making it possible to check the time even from angles not perpendicular to the clock. In the white version, the absence of embellishments and the uncluttered appearance of the gray hands emphasize the formal cleanliness of the watch, helping to strengthen its visual power. With its minimalist lines, this design easily adapts to different environments, be it home or workplace.

Giulio Iacchetti

Giulio Iacchetti has been an industrial designer since 1992 and has been designing for many brands, including Alessi. A distinctive feature of his work is the exploration of new object typologies, such as the Moscardino, the biodegradable spoon/fork co-designed with Matteo Ragni and awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 2001. In 2009, Coop was awarded the innovation award Premio dei Premi by the President of Italy for the Eureka project. In May 2009, the Triennale di Milano held a solo exhibition titled Giulio Iacchetti: Disobedient objects. In 2014, he won the second Compasso d'Oro award for the design of Sfera manhole covers, which he designed for Montini with Matteo Ragni.
