Delfino Armchair

Delfino by Erberto Carboni is an important example of "organic" furniture, which developed in the fifties and generally takes its inspiration from nature and avoids imitation. The product is conceived as a continuous unitary structure, a group of consecutive shapes that provide continuous support to the body with its curved lines. The development of this concept has yielded a very decorative result and created products with a strong personality, such as Delfino. Designed by Erberto Carboni in 1954, this armchair takes its name from an elegant marine mammal with its fin-like arms and harmonious, flexible body like a dolphin.
