Bernhardt & Vella

Ellen Bernhardt, born in Germany, and Paola Vella, born in Assisi, Italy, moved to Milan in 2001. Meeting at a design studio in Milan, the duo begin their collaboration based on the affinity they developed during their international working experience and a shared design vision. The design is understood as an individual interface that can describe the project simply and clearly and at the same time convey emotion and poetry. Since 2008 they have been collaborating with major furniture companies, developing products and acting as art directors.
