DESIGNER OF THE PRODUCT

Frederic Gooris

Belgian industrial designer Frédéric Gooris, born in Leuven in 1974, graduated from Hogeschool Antwerpen in 1998. In 1999 he moved to Milan, where he received his Master's Degree in Design at Domus Academy. After gaining 5 years of experience working with Philippe Starck and Stefano Giovannoni, he founded Studio Gooris in Milan, which designs products and concepts for companies all over the world, including Alessi. In 2009, he co-founded the design-focused baby furniture company Bombol. In 2010, he moved to Hong Kong to open the second office of Studio Gooris, where he works to this day.
