Bourgie was designed by Ferruccio Laviani for Kartell in 2004. Bourgie combines classicism, richness and tradition with technological innovation. Its baroque base consists of three interlocking ornate legs. When the hood is lit, it creates a pleated effect that creates multiple reflections. Thanks to a special system used to hang the head of the lampshade, three different heights can be achieved to suit personal preference, depending on the use to be made: 68, 73 and 78 centimeters.
