The world's first carbon fiber injection-molded Piuma chair. Winner of the 2017 Reddot Award for best of the best, Piuma is one of the most revolutionary and daring products in the development of technology and materials used by Kartell. It is the first time that a material containing carbon fiber has been injection-molded. The natural color of carbon is black, and the color of the product is achieved by dyeing the carbon fiber after the molding process. The minimum thickness of the chair is a few millimeters (max. 2 mm). Piuma is very light and very thin, but at the same time incredibly strong, flexible and suitable for outdoor use.
