Piuma chair, the first in the world made from carbon fiber injection printing. Winner of the 2017 Reddot Award best of the best, Piuma is one of the most revolutionary and bold products in the development of technology and materials used by Kartell. It is the first time a material containing carbon fiber has been injection molded. The natural color of carbon is black, and the color of the product is obtained by painting it after the molding process on the carbon fiber. The minimum thickness of the chair is a few millimeters (no more than 2 mm). Piuma is very light and very thin, yet incredibly strong, flexible and suitable for outdoor use.
