A revolutionary moka pot that combines technology developed by illycaffè and Alessi's design experience. Designed by Michele de Lucchi, Pulcina coffee encompasses a small but important design innovation that stops dispensing the beverage at the right time before it takes on a bitter aftertaste. This helps enhance the full and rich flavor of this beverage. Reminiscent of a chick's beak, the spout (hence the name of the coffee maker) allows it to perfectly stop the drip.

PRODUCT CARE

DESIGNER OF THE PRODUCT

Michele DeLucchi

Architect Michele De Lucchi was a prominent figure in the movement. He designed lamps and furniture for the most well-known Italian and European companies and carried out architectural projects abroad, especially in Italy. For his services to design and architecture, he was appointed civil servant to the Republic of Italy and nominated Professor at the Faculty of Design of the Politecnico of Milan and Member of the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca in Rome. Recently, it has realized a number of projects for the city of Milan as some of the fairs of Expo 2015. For Salone del Mobile 2015, De Lucchi created “La Passeggiata”, dedicated to the workplace vision for Workplace3.0.
