Designed by Le Corbusier in 1963 for the Parliament in Chandigarh, India, Parliament is a symbol of 1950s modernism, inspired by the industrial lighting of the period. The adjustable diffuser consists of two open symmetrical cones providing direct and indirect light. The surfaces reflect the “claviers de couleurs” colour system developed by the Swiss-French master.
