The Macrame table is an elegant sculptural work featuring a glass facade so intricate it could be mistaken for soft fabric upholstery. Its unique sculptural base is a masterpiece and creates the primary focal point in any living room. It is not only an extraordinary work of art but also a practical piece of modern furniture. The contrasting textures of the top and bottom offer a striking feature. Designed by Pablo Lucidi and Luca Pevere for Fiam Italia and made in Italy, Macrame is a contemporary table collection featuring a hand-woven spun glass base and a 10 mm glass top.
The term "spun glass" refers to the production technique in which glass is melted and drawn into fine threads or fibres to shape it.
