Description

Made in Italy: Designer Patricia Urquiola

The Jellies collection is a comprehensive range of plates, trays, glasses, bowls, decanters, coffee cups and sugar bowls designed by Spanish architect Patricia Urquila. The originality of the series lies in the fact that each model offers a different pattern inspired by the molds once used to make jelly. Overlapping sections and colorful juxtapositions create a unity that is both creative and sophisticated, yet discreet at the same time.

ÜCRETSİZ KARGO

DESIGNER OF THE PRODUCT

Patricia Urquiola

“In the Jellies Family tableware project, a new collection was born as a continuation of my long-standing collaboration with Kartell. A study of materials and applications for flatware was further developed. Therefore, a new line idea arose to describe a different kind of table by applying certain shapes, effects and appearances to plastic, borrowed from other purposes and materials. Its name is Trama (which means plot or weave in Italian), its storytelling function, its tactile nature – equally important in this collection – and refers to a more geometric, rigorous and rigorous approach.”
