Fratelli Campana

Lawyer Humberto Campana and architect Fernando Campana have been working together in artistic design in Sao Paulo since 1983. The use of weak materials and industrial waste adds to their radical vision. Handmade represents the possibility of social salvation in a poor country. Their intention is to find a Brazilian design method. They designed lamps for O Luce in Italy in 1997. They are featured with various pieces in the 1997 International Year of Design Book edited by Philippe Starck. In 1998, Moma in New York, together with Ingo Maurer, dedicated a "Progetto 66" exhibition to them.
