Designed by renowned Italian designer Alessio Bassan, the Prisma sideboard is a piece of furniture that aims to reunite everyday life with the brilliance of gorgeous materials and geometrically inspired Italian design. Made in Italy and designed by Alessio Bassan for Cattelan Italia, the sideboard has an asymmetrical concave pattern and an unusual walnut surface. DESIGNER OF THE PRODUCT

Alessio Bassan

Alessio was born in 1962 in Thiene, Vicenza. He was interested in design in his youth and collaborated with some companies to work on architecture and interior design. As a self-taught designer, he collaborated with a prominent studio in Vicenza in 1988. This experience gave him the opportunity to set up his own studio in 1997.
Today, he is a full-fledged designer capable of creating products, responsible for company communications, designing homes, shops, pubs and hotels. His versatility enabled him to develop a sophisticated and unconventional range, which made it possible to anticipate times and trends.
