Designed by Tokujin Yoshioka, Ami Ami is an iconic chair that takes its inspiration from its name, which means "to weave" in Japanese, bringing the traditional art of knitting together with modern industrial design. The most striking feature of the design is its detailed surface pattern, which gives the inner and outer surfaces the feel of a real woven texture even though the chair is produced in a single mould.

In P9 – Smoke Transparent, this model brings lightness and a sophisticated look to any space. The contrast between its clean square silhouette and richly textured surface gives it a character that is both modern and timeless. Its transparent polycarbonate structure lets light pass through elegantly, creating an airy effect in living spaces.
